Depressed much?

Some people suffer from clinical depression. It’s true that there are many levels of depression. As the world operates in faster pace due to technological advancements, competition and what not, the number rises rapidly. But here’s the thing I don’t get. Why are some teenagers are so proud of it? Attempted suicide much? Over some boy-girl relationship? Are they even diagnosed with clinical depression?

Did your spouse left you for another woman after 20 years of marriage?
Do your own parents left you for adoption because they don’t love you?
Do your own mom call you names and hate you cos of the bullshit your father did to her?
Do you get beaten up or sexually abused by your own parent?
Is your childhood tainted with abuse or slavery?

Unfortunately, to really understand depression, you have to go through the very painful journey of life depression has to offer. I’ve been through a lot of emotional shit but never have I declared to the whole world I have depression (which I don’t), because I know I’m strong and I’m capable to take control of my own life, in whatever state my life is. Be it shitty or the otherwise.

What makes me bring up this topic?
The so many typical break-ups that concern threats of committing suicide and self-pity.
& because I’ve seen worse situations in other households and individuals. And if you are really convinced you have depression, go see the doctor instead of blabbering around. To those who are diagnosed with it and are in therapy, remember it’s normal that it’s hard. Take all the time you want as long as you get better progressively. No one might understand so you’ve really gotta be strong-willed & remember your family and friends love you and keep going.

Guess what? Guess what?
SNIP SNIP.

I CUT MY HAIR!
Haha. Was using virtual hair salon on a stupid website..

I was trying to picture myself in different short hairstyles.
But I really look ugly in both photos.

Okay la.. I really snipped my hair off.
It was a weird experience for me.
I never had my hair short for at least 12 years.

The hairstylist was recommended by my elder sister.
& I gave it a try.
There was one point of time when she cut my hair to a shoulder length.
I swear I was face to face with Willy Wonka on the reflection.
I said this to myself repeatedly, “This can’t be happening..”

Good for me my hairstylist was a perfectionist. Everything must be in order and balanced. She took her time and didn’t rush which was GOOD. Everything was nice.. & I’m so glad I went there.

(Sorry I have no decent photos)
